Today our sweet Lisa was laid to rest. Laid to rest wearing her Donate Life pin given to her in honor of Savannah...words can not express how we felt when we learned this...
Thank you sweet Lisa for being a blessing in our lives. Thank you for sharing your heart and loving our child with your amazing spirit. Thank you sweet Lisa. Thank you for watching over her ... for I know that Savannah has a new angel looking out for her. Thank you for coming into our lives and spreading your infectious smile. Thank you for all of the support and all of our talks. Thank you for "shampooing" your hair and body with Purrel as not to get Savvy sick. Thank you for the beautiful words you wrote for Savvy...spending so much time to find the right ones. Thank you for the beautiful surprises I would find in the mail for Savvy. Thank you for being my friend at a time in my life when it would have been easier not to... I look forward to seeing you again for I know Heaven is so much more fun now that you are there!

Suddenly on March 13 2008, age 27, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Maple Shade, NJ.
Lisa was a 1999 honors graduate of Maple Shade High School and a 2004 honors graduate of Rutgers University. She worked at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden where she was a weekend manager. She was also working towards her teaching certification at Carusi School in Cherry Hill. She was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society and the Haddon Twp. Jazzercise Club.
She was the daughter of Simone (nee Menis) and Pat DeFelice ofMaple Shade and the late John V. Guarneri. She is also survived by her sister Mary Grace Guarneri of Maple Shade; her companion Dr. Cyrus Khorrami of Phila.; and her beloved cats Henry and Zoe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service Friday 12:00 Noon in St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, 615 Mercer St., Cherry Hill, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery. There will be a viewing Thursday evening from 6:00-9:00 PM in the ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME, 315 E. Maple Ave., Merchantville, NJ.
